Western Sydney International Airport

Western Sydney International (WSI) Airport’s construction stages have completed. Serving as a catalyst for the long-term economic and social development of Sydney’s western region, this is the first major airport built in Australia in over 50 years.

The terminal’s transparency and horizontal form are defined by its location. Its sculptural ceiling has been designed to filter natural light from skylights in the roof, echoing rays of sunlight filtering through the canopy of a eucalyptus forest, giving passengers a sense of calmness, clarity and connection with the region’s landscapes as they move through the terminal.
